Ceiling Dust Removal using Giant Truck Mounted Vacuum Machines
Whilst most roof cavity cleaning includes the removal and replacement of old insulation, we also just remove dust from roof spaces that have no insulation in them. The dust is vacuumed from the plaster ceiling and can also be vacuumed from the rafters, ceiling joists and the underside of the tiles (additional fees apply).
It is important to be aware that not all the dust can be removed through vacuuming alone. If a pristine environment is required then you will have to consider our 'Xtreme Clean' service which will remove the vast majority of dust in the roof space, through the use of both vacuum and compressed air.
Traditional roof cavity cleaning to remove dust will remove around 80 - 90% of the dust in a typical roof cavity, with dust between the ceiling joists and the plaster and dust in the extreme edges of the eaves generally not being removed due to access issues. Often dust is stuck on the plaster in older houses and this dust cannot be removed withour endangering the old plaster.
Utilising our Xtreme Clean service however, dust removal can be increased to well above 90% and the service is very popular with those planning to utilise their roof space for storage or even for additional living area.
